Airports Authority of India examine the Vigilance Awareness Week- 2013

Airports Authority of India rejoiced the Vigilance Awareness Week-2013..The week commenced by administering a pledge which was administered by Jha, in the presence of G K Chaukiyal, S. Suresh, and Upma Srivastava, followed by release of a unique handbook on Departmental Proceedings compiled by Corporate Vigilance Department of AAI. The week long programme will include series of lectures on various subjects like "Good Governance:Transparency and Fairness."
Air India and Airports Authority of India both today open 'Vigilance Awareness Week' activities to teach the ordinary man about the evils of dishonesty.
The Vigilance Awareness Week is to run between October 28 and November 2.
The AI vigilance department, which uncover the LTC scam and wrongdoing in the kind free companion ticket system, received kudos from the airline organization for its attainment.
"The position of vigilance has unspecified vital significance as Air India is aim for a turnaround. The role of vigilance now is that of a proactive management tool," said NK Jain, Director (Personnel) of AI, while launching the awareness week at Air India headquarters here.
There has been a audible change in the performance of the business departments of the airline due to the employment done by its vigilance department, he added.
As part of the vigilance week, AI has designed to host presentations on good authority along with essay and slogan writing competitions at regional headquarters across the country.
AAI is also observing the Vigilance Awareness Week, also between October 28 and November 2, at its corporate headquarters and all field stations and units.
The vigilance week will comprise a series of lectures on, among others, "Good Governance: Transparency and Fairness" by Ashok Chawla, Chairperson of the Competition Commission of India, an AAI statement said.
AAI rejoice Vigilance Awareness Week every year in conventionality with the orders of the Central Vigilance Commission
